Shelter Volunteer
​
This is an opportunity to work directly with our shelter residents, those sweet, fun-loving greyhounds.
As a shelter volunteer, you will turn out the hounds and conduct cleaning activities. Of course, you will get to spend time playing with and giving love to the hounds! First time volunteers will be provided training and given a required waiver form for signature. There are four turnout times a day to choose from: 6am, 12pm, 6pm, 11pm. Let us know what works best for your schedule!
Dog Haul Support
Throughout the year there are several dog hauls where greyhounds arrive directly from the track. Work with a group of volunteers to help freshen up the hounds by clipping their nails, cleaning their ears, and giving them a bath. And don't forget to give the hounds lots of pats, hugs and plenty of attention!
Fundraising and Other Opportunities
We are looking for dedicated volunteers with ideas, experience and interest in fundraising, event planning and advertising, corporate sponsorship and donor development.

Do you have experience with grant writing? We are looking for volunteers to respond to grant proposals.
